These terms govern your use of Serenity Helper. By creating an account or using any part of the platform, you agree to what is written here. We have tried to keep the language clear and honest — if anything is unclear, please reach out.
1. Using the platform
Serenity Helper is a personal wellness tool. You may use it for your own wellbeing and in accordance with these terms. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for anything that happens under your account. Please do not attempt to misuse, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the platform or its services. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

2. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed on either a monthly or yearly cycle depending on what you select at checkout. All payments are processed securely through Paystack, a trusted third-party payment provider. By subscribing, you also agree to be bound by Paystack's terms of service in relation to the processing of your payment. Serenity Helper does not store your card details — all sensitive payment data is handled entirely by Paystack under their security standards. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. Cancellations stop future charges but do not issue refunds for the current billing period already paid. If a payment fails, we will notify you and give you time to update your details before access is paused.

- No refunds are issued for billing periods already in progress
- Failed payments will be communicated promptly with time to resolve
3. What Serenity Helper is — and is not
Serenity Helper delivers AI-generated supportive messages based on your preferences. It is designed as a gentle daily companion for everyday emotional wellbeing — not as a mental health service, clinical tool, or crisis resource. The content you receive is not therapy, medical advice, or a substitute for professional care. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or emergency, please contact a qualified professional or your local emergency services immediately.

- Messages are AI-generated and personalised to your preferences — not professional advice
- Not suitable for use during mental health emergencies or crises
- Always seek qualified professional support when you need clinical care
4. Changes and how to reach us
We may update these terms from time to time as the platform evolves. When we make meaningful changes, we will let you know — either by email or through a notice inside the platform — before the changes take effect. Continued use of Serenity Helper after that point means you accept the updated terms. If you have questions about anything here, please get in touch and we will do our best to help.
